Got this 3 point Ford Finish mower and it threw the belt off the other day. Was getting ready to put the belt back on and noticed that the center spindle pulley has a lot of play so it need new bearings. Any body have any idea how to find the bearing numbers for this thing. Sorry do not have a model number yet have not found that on it. It has 3 blades by the way.
Thanks

Has 4 gauge wheels and they are the air up type to boot. 2 front 2 back and the front ones are a tad bit bigger then the back one are

Old, I think Bush Hog made some of the mowers for Ford. The place I use to work had a Ford mower and I had a Bush Hog brand and they looked same except for the color. Might help in looking for the parts.

It sounds like a 930B.I got a 6 footer. They show 2 different spindles for that mower on Messicks.I had a bearing got out on the center spindle and ate the shaft up.Had to buy a whole assembly .Ouch.Good Luck.

Hey old, if you plan on replacing them anyway...why not pull one out and take it to a good bearing supply house?

I've done this multiple times with my KK. They just cross the bearing number to what they have.

Doubt it will help, but mine are metric-25x52x15. Same type mower, 4 wheels, three blades.

Closes thing I have in this area to a bearing supply place is O'Reilly's LOL. Ya figured I would pull the bearing and take it to town with me and see what they can come up with

Old does it look like this one???

If it is this model I have one that I just replaced all the bearings and seals in. NH/Ford does not sell the bearings for the older spindle setup. IF yours has two nuts that are locked together to set the clearance on top of the pulley then it is the old style. NH/Ford wants to sell you a complete spindle assemble for $300 + each.

It is a strange setup the top seal runs on the spacer not the shaft.

The bearings are a metric dimension. The hole is 25 MM I do not remember the OD. I got them on Ebay for less than $50 for all six. The seals I had to order from Motion industries. They cost more than the bearings.

Email me if you can't find them. I can try to look up my bills to get you the numbers.

Not the one I have. The one I have has the gear box sitting up front and has a big pulley sitting under it. Almost set up 180 out from that one and is red with a white belt/pulley cover and has the Ford logo oval emblem on the guard cover
