Vermeer 603D Baler, pros and cons, hp needed?

Looking for a round baler on a cheap budget, have always done small square bales for years and found a Vermeer 603D for cheap at the local dealer. Looking for your opinion on the pros and cons of this baler. Didn"t find much info in past posts about this model. I know its an old baler and gonna need repairs but don"t mind fixing things as long as parts are out there or I can make them. Whats the HP needed for this baler? Size of bale it makes? and any good or bad things about this model.
Thanks

Never heard of a 603D. I assume it is similar to a 605D. I baled with one for a lot of years. It does not take a lot of hp. We ran it easily with a 4600 ford (52 hp). They are a bit of a picky and difficult baler. I would suggest a 504 F-H or a 1440 MF. Later model, easier to run and still pretty cheap.
