Please Advise on Massey Ferguson 12 square baler

I am thinking about trading a bush-hog brand 5 foot roto tiller 3 point hitch for a model 12 MF baler; does anyone know or has used a MF 12 baler; can you still find parts for them? I have never had one and don't know anything about them; What are the pros and cons of the MF 12 baler please advise. I do not at this time have additional funds to purchase a newer model baler. Thanks,

We've run the very similar #9 for decades.

Anything we've needed MF has had, but we do have a parts machine on hand as well.

The model 12 was a popular baler. Well built and most parts
should still be available. If not there are still lots of parts
machines out there. What size tractor are you wanting to pull it
with?

I only have one tractor it is 90 up, is that going to be a problem ? I knew I would have to go slow and take my time , please advise thanks

90 HP?

You won't have any issues. Those balers were made for 30-40 PTO HP tractors.

Just make sure you have 540 PTO...
