Haybine Reel Belt Tension on a 1465?

I have a 1465 that the reel is slipping alot and
plugging, mostly due to cutting 1st way late.
Glad crop is great, not so glad to have to fight
with the Haybine. I found that there is a belt
tension for the reel, which I can adjust, the book
is so helpful, it says if it's slipping and not
within spec for reel pressure to turn backwards
should be approximately 200 pounds to adjust the
spring, however, it does not even give a clue as
to which direction to move the spring, up the bar
or down??? Anyone know? Thanks! Leo

In case anyone else ever wonders, if you move the spring up on the bar, it tightens, lower removes tension. Up two holes from factory, working great again. It appears the previous owner never adjusted it on the 70 acres of hay he did with it. The hay was so light last year never had a problem. Averaging 6.5 - 5' x 5 1/2' round bales per acre... Alot more than last year.
