tractor breakdown

a big john deere pulling a big planter broke down planting the field across from my house today.

they brought in an even bigger john deere to pull the one that broke down to the barn yard.

then hooked up the second one and kept on planting.

I did not take a picture of them dragging the broke down one to the house as they would have denied a big john deere ever broke down anyway.

last year a great looking tricycle 3020 jd was pulling a tobacco setter across the road from me and it broke down, I offered to pull it off line with my little to-35 fergy and hook to the setter for them.

but they said it would not fit and brought in another bigger jd.

in my area of west ky, I have to drive from one field to the next at night with my little fergy.
we must be a jd community.

I would love to own one too, maybe someday.

wonder if they make little one's, I do not need one that is bigger than my house.

The neighbor by me is as staunch as they come when it comes to Deere. One of her friends owns the dealership and finds her good low hour used units. She has many tractors and has very good luck with them.

It always makes me laugh when I go to grind her feed with my international. The old girl does me proud surrounded by all of that green!

I had to leave a tractor and grinder there over night due to rain a week ago. She told me she almost went out to the shed and painted my tractor green. I told her that would have made it start leaking worse than it already does! :+)

John Deere! My neighbor runs all Deere. I was rolling hay with my ole white and the guy calls, said he needs to go to a funeral will I roll some hay for him with his tractor and roller. Boys I could hear the radio, the air was cool the dang baler didn't clog up and it tied every bale. He had to get the sheriff to get me out of his tractor that night!

Last summer I was haying a few acres at my buddy's house. His family and inlaws have always had Deere and nothing but Deere. I run only blue Fords. As I was finishing mowing one day his three year old daughter asked me why my tractors are the wrong color, she thought they were all supposed to be green. Then the following day I lost the water pump in my Ford and had to use his Deere to finish baling. The whole Deere family got a kick out of the fact that the Deere bailed me out when my Ford broke.
