Anyone have informaion on how these markers work. I can't get them to go down . Is it a hydrolic issue or is there some electronic signal needed. I did get a fender mounted eletric box with the planter but zero instructions (auction). I can get the planter to plant.I just can't make the markers move. Thanks in advance for any help. Mike S.

I see you got no replies all day. And in no help, never ran a real red planter, tho do have some 295 units on a 3pt bar.

Did you mean a 950, I guess I'm not familiar with a 960, unless that was an update after the 955?

Do you have the marker box hooked up to a 12 volt fused power source? Are you getting power to the box and toggle switch? One of the lights should be light if you have a power source and it's grounded when you flip the toggle switch on. There is one power lead and a ground lead into the box. The marker box should have a toggle switch and two red lights labeled right and left and a another spot labeled advance. There should also be a harness that runs from the box to the planter tongue. The monitor and marker harness are about the same length but different diameters and fasten the same way to the two planter harnesses that come up out of the tongue. There is also a ground ring terminal on the harness about 24" back from the end of the plug that connects to the planter that has to be grounded also. There are two solenoids that control each marker mounted in the middle rear of the planter straight behind the tongue. If you have low battery voltage or a bad alternator things work right either. What monitor do you have? Early Riser? There is a seperate ops book for the monitor and one for the planter itself. Have a good cih dealer close by? Hope this helps some:)
