101 plow cut width adjustment

Rotated hitch pins clockwise viewed from rt. side from 6 -8:30 o'clock. Should this create much more demand on the tractor?

Doing so increases your width of cut, but this only affects how much the 1st bottom cuts. Shouldn't make much difference to the tractor.

I used a Ford 101 series plow for many years..but then that was a long time ago now. However I can still remember my friends and neighbors asking me what kind of plow I had as the finished product was usually perfect. When I told them it was a 3 x 16 with Oliver bottoms, they were usually rather surprised. So if you tell me what you are looking for I can probably remember lots of stuff to tell you about the plow and what I did to allow it to work to its potential. As I remember it was a rather easy pulling plow for the 65 horse tractors I used.
