Quick question (I've misplaced my manual):
How many plunger strokes/minute is a NH 277 supposed to do?

Thanks,

Lot of my old tractors did not have functioning tachometers, so when I was ready to bale, I'd watch my wristwatch and time it to one beat per second- then we're underway, waiting for the next breakdown.

If I recall the 277 was designed to run at 72 spm. However, all NH balers are designed to operate at 540 rpm will will equal the correct strokes per minute.
