A-16, A-21, A-24 mower identification help

This is a mower I bought with a 1950 super A. I'd like to get the proper operators manual and need help identifying it first.

Looks like a A-16 with some modifications:)
The lift lever has been removed and a rare log chain lift substituted.
If you want to battle it , my opinion is you need a parts manual for an A-16

OOPPs, looking closer, it looks like a A-21 with the rod from the lift arm to the Touch Control arm not installed. You may have to remount the left rim and tire with the dish out to allow room for the lift rod from the lift arm on the mower to the Touch Control arm.

Sorry I don't have the part # for the rod, but it ought not be hard to fabricate.I can measure mine, or I have seen a chain ( smaller than the log chain)used. Manuals are probably available from Binder Books.

A 21

If I'm not mistaken - the a24 has two springs, and was the "commercial" version.

An A16 - I THINK is a belly mount... - or the mower for a cub? Not sure on that one.

I have the proper rod to lift the mower. But it rubs the wheel. ( the 1950 model it came with is being rebuilt.) so it's on my 52 model and the rear wheels are not adjusted out. How do I get them out farther? I'm guessing unbolt them and turn the dishes out...but I've assumed wrong before...
