other than the fact that Gehl is out of the farm implement market, what are the good and the bad about the 1070 haybine?

I retired mine (2175) due to parts costs. New bearing on pitman arm was encased in a special pillow holder. Cost over $150 for a $10 bearing. The bolt for the wobble was worn, wanted $145 for a replacement. Did not replace it but did put in new bearings that were inexpensive. Darn thing would plug in fields that were not all that heavy. Finally lost a support for one of the rollers and decided not to repair. Went to the scrapper after I took off most of the vauable parts so I could make up some of my costs. Bought a CCM drum mower and have not regretted it.
