Ford 530 U-Joints

Get a micrometer and measure, you can probably get them over the counter at a dealership.

Probably a 14 series. Just measure them... both the cup size, the distance across from outside of cap to cap and the square of the shaft bar itself. More often than not they can be id'd by the square of the bar. They will be available anywhere they keep a rack of driveline parts.

I thought someone would be familiar with the 530 setup since it's not a normal u-joint.

Unfortunately, it will not be as easy as changing u-joints. The yoke appears to be part of the bearing. It is not a traditional yoke where the cups can be pushed out.

Looks like it would require a new shaft assembly.

Ooops... I missed the part about the pickup drive shaft. Yes, they're different. IIRC, those are just pins that are press fit in place of cups. It still hammers apart like a cup type. At least the later 532 does.

I may try that for grins. Even looking around what it would cost to replace both halves, the New Holland deal is pretty attractive. $26 for the male shaft and u-Joint and I thing the female was $80ish for the shaft and u-joint.

I can't come close to that buying individual sections.
