Adapter for 4 hole wheel to 5 hole wheel how do I make this

My old baler has a 4 hole wheel and I do not have a implement tire for it. My friend gave me this 5 hole wheel tire to use free. You know me always need a cheap fix. I heard you could use an old rotor from a 5 hole wheel as an adapter of sorts. Orchelins has a spacer plate for $17.00 thought I would look at the hole configuration to see if this would work. Any better answers besides buying an implement tire?

Thanks for your help.

Wouldn't it be easier to get a used "Junk" tire off a car or pickup and put it on the baler rim?
For a baler you do not need an "implament" tire.
Be sure you get the right size>ggp

Any old tire that holds air and the right size
will work on a baler. You will probably need a
tube also.

Your cheapest route is to use the old 4 bolt wheel. It is probably a 15 or 16" wheel.
Then go to a tire store and buy a used tire, it can be a really wornout tire, which is OK for the slow speeds of a baler. Tire should cost $5, mounting $5, no need to balance it.

You can buy a used auto tire and have it mounted for
under $20.00.Lots cheaper and easier than
buying/engineering an 'adapter plate'.

If you have the 4 hole rim buy an inner tube then go to a tire store and have them mount a cheap car tire on it. Many places if you tell them what it is for will charge you for the tube and give you the tire since they have to pay to have them taken away any how. I have picked up a good many free tires that way just to use them on equipment

Looks like prices in your area are super cheap. Any 15" tire around here, if your lucky enough to find one, that will hold air sell's for $20. minimum, plus a minimum of $10. to mount it. Quite a few 16", but 14" and 15" are getting super hard to find.

how about those 4 hole 'donut' spare tires for a Nissan Sentra & such. Junkyard will have a pile of'em around. They were not for regular road use but only used for emergency spare.

Always love these questions. I worked in a tire shop for years. The cheapo car tire guys kept us busy! For how many times we switched and repaired their tires they could have bought a good quality implement tire. If you have a 4 and 5 hole rim are the diameters the same? If so just switch tires. Also, on a baler if you just grab any old tire make sure it holds the baler level or you'll damage the pickup.

I had another friend give me a practically new tire which is the same wheel size has the 4 hole wheel I have for the baler. I am going to have it changed out and it looks to be the correct height to keep the pickup level. Thanks for the advice.

I found out 15 inch wheels are hard to come by now. Interesting how a simple thing can cause a big issue. Thanks for the help.
