Round Baler Belt Turned Over

I flipped one on my JD 375 because I had a 5' mouth and a 4' tractor width. I raised the gate and flipped it back after I dumped the roll. I am smarter now. Was my first season with the combo.

No experience with a 510 but on my vermeer I had to take the laces loose, which is no big deal with the tension off the belts. Look in your manual, should detail the process of taking the tension of the belts.

On my old Vermeer with the gate about 1/2 open there is no Ttention on the belts and I have worked out a couple of flips over the years.

You do know how to raise gate insert a pin on each then lower gate a little to relieve belt tension? 510 is easier to flip upper belt over than later model balers because the belts are thinner.
