Problem with mower deck height kit

I just bought a deck height chain kit for my rotary cutter. Problem is, I need to use stabalizer bars with this heavy mower. This leaves no room for the deck height plates on the mower's draw pins.

Have others run into this same problem, and if so how did you solve it?

Thanks in advance.

You should be able to find some longer draw pins at TSC or other tractor and farm supply store. (that is assuming yours aren't welded in place)

i built a set for my shredder and instead of using the plates,i drilled holes in the a-frame on 3 point and bolted chains on...works the same as the plated setup.

Thanks for the replies.

I may have to do something like this. The mower is a Ford 906 with the big tubular frame. The pins have to be long enough to go thru this frame, and I haven't been able to find draw pins 8" long with longer ends
