Looks like the pond will not be at spillway this year. Actually it's a main area (bowl) that was expanded to an additional area at "low tide" so that when the level is about 5 ft low, the bowl seals off the new area.
However the new area is about 4' deep at the edge of the bowl of the original area. I have Coontail moss and algae. Thought about getting a 2" pump and pumping out the new area to fill up the bowl when the water gets really low this summer.
Anybody do this and what am I up against, other than lots of mud?
