I know this has been talked about before, but the point is worn out on dad"s model 51 deere plow. Are these availible anywhere?
Thanks
Tim

If it is 18" the share will say 219 with several different prefixes possible . Many 51"s are 18" but like already pointed out by Carlyle we need to know the size . If it is indeed 18" Tyler Buchheit [ the plow guy ] has a NOS one . If for some reason it is not available I also have NOS ones but would prefer you check with Tyler first . I probably have 16" NOS also . Those are marked " 218 " with multiple prefixes possible again. These are gennie NOS Deere shares .

If this is a working plow(not for show)then just go and get any share. Take a torch and blow holes in the right place and bolt it on with a hex head bolt. Unless you are farming 200 acres you will never ware the bolt head off and if you do, just put in another bolt.
