316 new holland twine baler

Does anyone have any experience with a N.H. 316 baler. I have been looking at a couple and looking at the 311 as well. Any thoughts appreciated.

I bought one new in 1988, last year they were
made. Excellent baler, one of the best NH ever
produced. Little brother 311 is also an excellent
baler. Those balers are now all about 25 years
old so reliability will vary due to wear and care
NH still has most all parts available.

My neighbor down the road bought a NH 316 several years ago and is really happy with it, it must be a good baler cause he doesn't seem to have to work on it very much outside of regular maintenance. I know it will keep up with my NH 320 all day long and maybe a little better.

I've had real good luck with mine. Has good capacity and has been very reliable

We have a 316. Good baler, we dont use it but about 2000 or so bales a year now.....round bales take most of the hay. Good baler, never any real big issues with it.
