Hi Frank I have a guestion on the GT 1006 No-Till Drill, Ware do you get your parts from? While going over the drill today I found several loose bearings. I got them all tightened up and the seed tube adjusted like you said and did good till I got to the last one and found a bad bearing and hub assc. that are going to have to be replaced. The nut side bearing had been loose for a while and has eat the stub shaft up to ware it wont hold a bearing anymore. I have the number for Moore in Ireland 011-4428276644 and one for a dealer in Ontario Canada 416-247-7875 and was wondering if you know of any others that might be in the USA to get parts from? The part # in my book is #731710 for the hub and bearing and part# 730450 right and #730460 left bearings. The bearing I could read is a Timken DUO-FACE-PLUS( #L44600L on the seal) #L44642 Timken Made in England on bearing. I hope you might be able to give me some ideas before I start calling Canada and Ireland tomorrow or if you or anyone else know another source in the USA to get parts from. Thanks for any help you can give me. At least its the easiest one to work on. Bandit

Banditfarmer I usually get my parts direct from Moore. I order on line and they accept paypal only. If you need the bearing it has a Gleaner number 71326257. I also had to replace one of the shaft last year same problem that's when I repacked all the bearings. If you contact Moore their address is www.moore-unidrill.com and the person I've talked to is Rosemary Gregg very helpful as long as you have part numbers shouldn't be any problem. When I 1st got my drill I ordered parts from Bannerman's(Canada)and Moore direct, Moore's got here 1st and were cheaper inc.shipping. Good luck if you need info I'll help as much as I can. Frank

Thank You for the information, I got lucky my cousin has a small machine shop and is going to cut it down and put a sleave on it tig weld a turn it down to fit. Local Oliver dealer had bearings so I got lucky on that part. After planting is over I think I am going to put it in the shop and go through all the bearings on the openers and press wheels and repack them and check things out. Getting this fixed I should be good to go, I hope! I will have to get Moore a call to order some of the flexible rubber connectors, Have a couple that are not the best put will work for now. Its good to know there is someone else out there with one of these drills in use. Thanks You for your help. Bandit
