Acre Counter

Last spring I ordered a Meter Man acre counter for my White 5100 planter. First they sent the wrong one, so I returned it and when I was finished planting, the new one came. The counter looks similiar to the counters on small square balers. When mounting it, I used the wheel with the correct number of teeth on it and when I try to tighten the wheel to the shaft of the counter, the shaft turns before it gets tight. I can't see any way to hold the shaft to finish tightening the wheel up. Anyone run into this before? Any ideas? Thanks, Chris

Cheap handheld gps, or the gps odometer on you smart phone.

You need to shim the drive wheel so it tightens on the shaft. I use a few wraps of electrical tape and that usually works well.
