John Deere L or H manure spreader

Of the two models, an H or an L, is one better than the other for any particular reason? I am needing something small for cleaning out calf pens in an old dairy barn, and these machines are small enough I can pull one right through the barn with my little Ford tractor. Both machines are said to work good with recent repaint jobs and good tires. Price is $950 choice. Just wondering if there is one that I should consider over the other for an mechanical reason.
Thanks

The L replaced the H in the spreader linup. Never used an H or L but the L was a smaller version of the R that I had that was good.

The "H" has an all steel bed, while the "L" has an all wood bed, except for the headboard! The "L" axle will be a tad bit further forward, putting a tad less weight on the tractor. Otherwise, they're very similar!
