You have a "Plow Chief" wing. Not to worry, the plow point looks like it has a good bit of wear left. If you have an old machine shop man in your community he can re-point the plow points and get a lot more wear out of them. The wing appears to have very little wear. The tail wheel looks to have been replaced recently.

Tail wheel is perfect, as is the furrow wheel. The on-land wheel is going to need some attention, as it moves about 4 inches on the shaft. Share was just built up and hard surfaced. Don't think its going to take too much to be ready to plow.

Cumminsman,
It is easy to take the onland wheel off. Turn out the bolt on the hub, pull out a pin and the whole wheel and hub should slide off the axle. Clean out all the old rock-hard grease and oil the spring that holds the trip lever. Might be the axle pin is missing to make it move in and out so much. You will easily find the problem as they are simple things to work on.

Your moldboard looks good to me, if you can plow in some sandy soil (not rocky!) that rig should shine right up. A John Deere R should be a good matchup for that plow!!!

That is NOT a Plow Chief bottom!!! What the world?! That's an older blacksmith-share bottom.

Hopefully, the share was built up [i:7fbc26c4e8]right[/i:7fbc26c4e8]. You may to take a grinder to the backside to sharpen the cutting edge and remove any 'sled runner' that may be present.
