does any one know what size the drive chain for the grass seeder should be.

Do you have a piece of the old chain? If yes then match it up. It is sold in 5' lengths at most tractor dealers and the brand does not make any difference. If not you will have to use the drive cogs to determine the size. Start with 1" square chain and go up from there. Drive chain has always been standardized to size and only the correct size will work with your cogs.

Thanks Lmack, you were right. It was a one inch flat. Got it on and oats drilled and alfalfa seeded before rain.
