Can you post a picture or two of the wrenches you mentioned in my other post about tightening the gang bolts on a Krause disk ?

Google for "striking wrenches" I'll post a couple of links here for you to try:

There are several pages of them on each link. If the disk has square nuts on it, you may have to fabricate your own wrench.

Here is a picture of what gang bolt wrenches look like. The square wrench is used on the disk gang spool and the hex one for the nut. Most modern disk brands use them to tighten the gang bolts. You use pieces of pipe over the hands to get the mechanical advantage you need.

I always tightened the gang bolt until all the blades rang like a bell. I always tighten a while and then hit the opposite end of the gang bolt with a two pound hammer HARD a few times and then go back to tightening.

Sorry, but no pics. Basically it is just a piece of 3/8" or 1/2" piece of flat steel approx. 4"x8" with a hole the size of the nut, cut in one end and welded onto a 5' pipe. Dad was an old timer and used a round hacksaw blade to cut the Nut size hole. A torch could do the same, doesn't have to be perfect. The other piece was just another flat piece with 4 holes to match the holes on the large outer cast end where the extensions might be added. Some of the new ones might not have the holes. If not just lower disk to ground and raise wheels for added weight and maybe use a large pipewrench on spool. Used this method a lot with great success.
