I have a three point hitch cultivator that fits my ford n perfectly. It has spring teeth that bolt onto 1 3/4" posts that slide up and down in brackets secured by a u bolt.

I would like to use it as a harrow as my drags are worn to shreds-- I have the extra tines, posts and there were two extra mounting brackets on there. All I need are the u bolts.

They are 5/8" stock 2" center to center and 2 3/4 from foot to top of throat. No one seems to carry the things-- do any of you guys have a source for hardware like that?

You could try Agri Supply. Too many pages there for me to sift through.

You could use two regular bolts and two pieces of flat steel, drilled for the bolt pattern..... ..use as a clamp.

Gracias! Sometimes that works....sometimes not- just depends on the situation. BTDT many times in 40 years of farming, configuring, trying the cheap alternative! Yeah, I"m a conniving cheapskate! I"ve built some machines, been repairing and modifying for decades. Dad did the same. If you go back to the early years of mechanized agriculture..... most mods were invented by farmers, not engineers.
