I checked around for blades. Farm & Fleet only has notched blades at $25ea. Shoup's has smooth blades for $26ea for 12 or more. Sloan Express has 18" 9ga blades for under $17 ea. I order 24 blades, with shipping, total was $502. I checked with Sloan about bearings, they couldn't match the JD numbers, I will call Shoup and see if they can match them up. Worked on it some tonite, got 1 bearing beat off the shaft on the last gang. I guess I'll find out if the shafts break after welding on them this spring. Chris

I called Shoup this afternoon, They have the bearings. At John Deere you have to buy the bearing, races and seals seperate. Shoup had bearing, races and seals in a kit for $84.95. JD is about $115 for everything you need. Ordered 2 bearings.
