wood beam plow

I have a wood beam plow, without any wood parts. It is OLD. There is a piece of strap metal that goes from below the beam, I ASSUME, all the way to the front and it has a ring on it at the outside end. On the inside end, it is hammer welded where it loops around something then back again to align with the strap to be hammer welded. The shank that holds the moldboard goes through a retangle slot and into and through the piece that holds the beam with 2 bolts. That shank was heated, then beat out to espread it over the retangular hole and draw it up tight. Its a 12in plow. Question is, how were the handles mounted? Are there parts I dont have? IF SO, Is there anybody who has them? Can anybody give me deminisions on the beam? How did they adjust the plow sideways? With the double tree and lots of hitch holes in it? Would a coulter be dang hard to find for it?
Would a front wheel be as hard to find also?

Most walking plows didn't have a rolling coulter and lot didn't have a hanging or fin coulter either, those were extra cost options. Lateral and horizontal adjustments were made at the hitch. The gauge wheel was also an option. Find any of those items that go to that particular, unknown make of plow? Forget it. Could something else be made to fit? Maybe. Without pictures it's hard to say how things fit together.

Can't say I'm really following your description,but it sounds like you've got a lot of parts missing. The handles bolt to the steel parts which bolt to the wooden beam.

Here's a few pictures of an Oliver and a Syracuse wood beam to show you where they bolt to those two.

Don't mind the mess,the plow shed is in as much disarray as the toy room.
