Hello I found this old thread on here about replacing this gear but it does not address how to move the assy. forward to line up the holes. Can anyone give me some help with this?
Thanks

654 NH round baler? I usually use an 8' 4x4 and push
it with a tractor or skid loader. Dealer uses a come
a long and pulls but I didn't see where he hooked
it.

Open tailgate and lock it open and release tension on the belts. Then the sledgeframe should pivot. I used a small electric winch hooked to a bar across the top to move it and a motorcycle strap/chain to hold it in place. Others use a come-along if you got one. Don't stick you fingers through the holes in the sidewall or you might lose one if the frame slips.
