F8 one way disc plow for a 4000 Ford ?

I am looking to possibly purchase what I believe to be a F8 one way disc plow. I own a Ford 4000 tractor and was wondering if the plow would work with my tractor's three point hitch and if it was to much hp for the plow?

F8 does not tell us anything. What brand? What size? Then some 4000 Fords only have a catagorie 1 hitch while others have a combination 1 & 2 hitch so what size hitch does it have and what year is your tractor? Wheel size on the tractor can also make a big difference, 28", 30" or 38".

I was told that it was a MF F-8 Disc plow and as far
as my tractor it is a cat 1 or 2, it has cat 2 balls
in the lift arms now. The width of the rear tires is
plenty wide for the disc plow and as for the year
model im unsure.I"m new to this type of disc and was
told by the fellow I bought it from it would work,
could not pass it up for the price and condition.
tryin to break what is known as Post Oak or Prarie
clay in SE Miss. Thanks for your help and could use
anything you guys have to offer.
