I tried out a Case IH 3440 round baler last fall, it's in good shape, and it worked well - it didn't make the tightest bale in the world, but was real easy to operate. The guy wants $4500 for it. I'm wondering if this a good price, and if there are any problems i should watch for. I'm located in the northeast

| Price seems fair if it is in mint condition.
Those balers were made 1987 to 1989 under CaseIH name, New Idea was still making it well into the 1990's.
