Auger Parts

Hi...
I have a 1952 8n with the origanal Auger, and I just broke the gear box! I was wondering if anyone would know if there are parts anywhere?
it is a large round cast iron gear box with a 1 1/2" square hole in the top for a big pipe in it to guide the auger, Big angle iron legs for the 3 point mounting, and I'm at a lost for leads

Auger??? So your saying the 8N came with something added on or what. Yes ford made equipment but it was all stuff sold as add on like a plow or disk etc. So please explain what you have as in post hole auger or grain or what so maybe we can help you help your self
 
Us nothern folks call it a post hole digger, as an 'auger' is for moving grain these days. Or to make holes in the ice to go fishing in winter. :)

I suspect perhaps what you broke was a Dearborne posthole auger?
