I have an older model 6 row 7000 and the metal/slot that contains a tension roller/bolt for the driver chain in the center transmission is worn and metal thinner so while planting in corn residue corn stalks will loosen the roller and the driver chain will slip off. I saw a 7000 at a sale that looked like this tension roller was mounted on better so it would prevent that loosening and chain knocking out.
Did John Deere change the design of that mounting of the roller on the driver chain in later models? Thanks.
