anybody ever seen one i need a picture or explanation of the husk i rescued one and it come apart unloading it off the trailer wood was very rotten i need an understanding of the pulley system that drives the cable drum that pulls the carriage thanks for any help

might be similar to Frick or Corley or Farquar or American mills of the same age. Those are called the 'feedworks'. It's fairly simple & direct if it is like most feedworks. Try to find out the approximate age. google is your friend. Also try at sawmill.com. The husk is also called the sawbox.
