Here is a picture of what I am looking for. I need one of the lower castings that receives the drop down hose. Let me know if you have that casting you could part with one and price. Thanks, Ken Sweet |

| Jim, that is correct--I could use that whole assembly from the disc all the way up to where it bolts on. Ken Sweet |

| I have a steel wheel drill that has a few openers on it but they have the wrong boots for what you need. |

| What model are you working on. I have an FB that I use and an (I believe) SS that I'm taking a few of the cast iron boots off of as repair parts (same casting number). The rest of the drill I'm probably going to sell (yard ornament???) I'm in Montana e-mail if interested |

| | You must need a "boot" for a single disc drill? What is the drill model? What is the number on the casting? Hard Iron bearing or ball bearing? (newer than 1961 or older) Short or long? (drag bars for each disc alternate between short and long) LH or RH? (side of the boot the disc mounts to) The drill you have MAY be similar to the model B in the .pdf parts catalog at the link below, from which you cold post a part number (if different from the number on your casting). |

Here's a list of boots used on the 8000 series drills. The same boots(part #s) also were used on the earlier rubber tired drills such as the model B,FB,FB-A & FB-B which are the ones I'm familiar with. IIRC the number is cast into the boot. The AF boot & hard iron brgs utilized the same boot. Older iron wheel drills utilized a a different boot for mounting hard iron brgs as the hole was "square"
KK168M SEED BOOT 1 ( Z82M) SHORT OPENER, R.H.
KK169M SEED BOOT 1 ( Z83M) SHORT OPENER, L.H.
BB3098M SEED BOOT 1 ( A634M) LONG OPENER, R.H.
BB3099M SEED BOOT 1 ( A635M) LONG OPENER, L.H.
QQ1264M SEED BOOT 1 ( M61848) SEMI-DEEP, LONG OPENER, R.H.
QQ1265M SEED BOOT 1 ( M61849) SEMI-DEEP, LONG OPENER, L.H.

| The casting # shown in the picture on the left side of the picture is 6B- A634MLR. Need the whole assembly and disc also. Standing behind the drill, this piece is on the left side with single disc opener discs. Thanks Ken Sweet |

Does your drill have LH & RH openers? Some drills had the openers that went only one direction. |
