The Hesston 1090 and 1091 where a fairly good machine. They did have trouble around the sickle gear case but that usually was from the owner running a dull sickle or a bad sickle head.
Five years ago I would have said that $2000 was way too high a price. Now that is about market for one if it is usable. The cost of new is sky high so usable older equipment is selling higher.
