Is it broke right at the end? I broke one on my 1120. There's a cast block that screws down in the end of that one. I took the torch and cut the old spirals off,then spread the coils on the spring just a little and screwed it back down in there. Just made the spring three of four inches shorter was all. Made it up with the adjustment bolt.
