Parts for a Harry Ferguson plow

My uncle who passed away a few years ago could not get the correct parts, so he welded landslides, shares and a mouldboard to repair his plow. He got the parts at a discount. (special orders not picked up, and so on)

This is what I know:
In 1962 he bought an overhauled 1952 N from the Ford Tractor dealer, and he got a "new" Harry Ferguson plow 2x14 or 2x16 it looks like.
A cousin was going to take it home and disassemble it for parts for his 2 plows. He took the coulters off and abandoned it by the road.

In the late 90s my uncle was having trouble finding shares for it... was this an issue with both his parts dealers? I tried looking it up in several parts books with no definite answer.

By cutting a few plow bolt nuts, the mouldboard, shares and landslides would come off - does anyone still make new parts?

I'm having a bit of trouble following your post.
If your plow looks like the one in the photo below and you need wear parts it is doubtful you will find them.
Those plows were sold with the 9N and 2N Fords and a lot of guys with those tractors and plows would be happy to find them.

Thanks, that answered my question. Saw a worn out one just like you photo heading to the parting scrap yard...

Will be using mine for yard art, just the frame is still good, the welded on shares and landslides are worn out. Will see if anything is still usable.

I"m curious here...how did he buy a new Harry Ferguson plow in 1962 when Harry Ferguson sold out to Massey in 1953? Are you sure it"s not a Massey #62 plow? They were identical to the earlier Ferguson plows except for they had replaceable shins and conventional shares.
