David Broad 01-27-2013 15:23:23 86.137.123.235 Report to Moderator	Just a couple of questions out of curiosity . The Farmhand Fll Loader , A couple of points . When did Farmhand start making them and how high did they go and how much wieght did they lift ? Another thing about these loaders . On a 4 cylinder tractor it was effectively no cab unless you had the Farmhand cab that thye eventually brought out , but if fitted to a 6 cylinder you could : is that right ? Never known anybody do that here in the UK : purhaps not avalible here in the UK for Six Cylinder tractors . Have just noticed the did and F25 although I fancy never sold here . Finally , the F12 loader to which was a more conventional type , that being fitting on a four cylinder in the more regular position hence , in front of a normal tractor cab , anybody know the hieght and lifting capacitys of those . DeltaRed 01-27-2013 15:56:06 71.208.220.239 Report to Moderator	Re: Farmhand Loaders in reply to David Broad, 01-27-2013 15:23:23   The F-11 was for a cabless tractor.4 or 6 cylinder would make no difference.The F-11 would lift 17 ft high.They will lift an awful lot of wt(3500?),enough to be a little uncomfortable with.The F-25 was a imperoved/modernized F-10.Some of those were mounted on cabbed tractors.I think that would go to over 25'.The F-11 and F-10/25 were two totally different loaders   [Reply]  [No Email]

I have worked on them before when I was a welder for and agricultural engineer but never knew how high they went , only that they went pretty high . I did read some time back in one of the tractor magazines that the F12 loader which was more conventional in the way it went on the tractor could went up to 13Ft ,but then they were fitted a lot further forward on the tractor and if it had a cab , it was no problem . I think they came in in the UK in about 1976 in time for the cab sound decibel regulations . You say about seeing the F25 one tractors with cabs , funily enough only last night I was looking on a site where somebody had one on a John Deere 4020 with what looked like I Hinker cab . Not that I dissbelive you DeltaRed but I am surprised that if you were to fit the F11 on a six cylinder tractor that there still would not be enough space to get a cab on . For what I have seen of them on four cylinder tractors , the Ford 5000 being the most common , there is not much front clearence , so little in fact that if you had no bullgaurd fitted , it meant no front left in the tractor as like I have seen with quite a few .
