Can a three bottom snap coupler plow be converted into a two
bottom and pull right or not? Picked up a wd45 but it don't
have enough left in the tank to pull the 3-16, so I wondered
about dropping a bottom. But I'm not familiar with how an ac
two bottom compares to a three bottom, and don't want to
mess up how it plows.

Yes, and no is the answer. The convertible plows, you can do it by dropping the frame pieces and the standard, off of the left most bottom, IIRR. If the frame as 2 sets of holes, you can convert it from 3-14, to 2-16, if you can find the 16" bottoms.

Yes. Drop the back and middle bottoms and then put the back one back on. Did it a couple of times with my 3-14". I never adjusted the draft point or anything and they pulled just fine as a 2 or 3 bottom.

Forddoc,
I have a snap coupler 2 bottom I would like to trade for a 3 bottom. Hopefully, your close. My email is open.

A WD-45 should have no problem with a mounted 3-16" plow..unless it needs weight and better tires.

Gosh, a WD came standard with a 3-14"...!!

3-16" should not pull all that much harder than 3-14" and quite a bit easier than 4-14" (which I use)..

Ron..
