Question below about getting an old plow ready to work reminds me of a question. Maybe some of you know the answer.
Dad had a plow that I never knew the model number, he called it a "Pony". Steel wheels, furrow wheel spoked, landside wheel "bottle cap". Had a crank instead of lever to adjust the furrow wheel setting, 2 bottom, 14 inch. He bought it used in the winter of 43/44, never bought anything new. Probably made somewhere around 1935. With the wide drawbar on the Farmall Regular he had to hook it 2 holes off center, side draft made holding the tractor front out of the furrow quite a job.
That's all I remember. Thanks for input.
