494A, is it clutch lift or hydrolick lift? I an trying to find some of those with clutch lift for my Amish friends. Parts manual on the Messick's site, Just printed one off. Have to locate a operators manual yet.

After looking on messick's at some manuals it looks like a 449A, which is what I think you meant instead of the 494A.
Thanks for all the help.

Yes, I reversed the numbers to the Deere planter that I am used to, not the International that I am needing to learn. That planter depending on condition and if clutch lift could be worth a thousand dollars.

I would say this is more of a parts machine cause it's missing some pieces. I think it is a clutch lift. I was hoping to adapt one or two units to pull behind my cub, kind of like the 184/186 planter. If you need parts off this unit please let me know.

Would like to have all the parts you will not be using but how would we get them from NJ to western Ohio. I have a planter here not that needs the complete clutch assembly as it was stollen-parted off along with most of the marker parts, a complete ground wheel and hub. The press wheels are also gone but I can fit Deere that I have in there. Opened my email.
