rockyridgefarm 01-02-2013 04:51:03 69.131.203.82 Report to Moderator	Hey All, I currently have a John Deere 400 15 footer. This next year, I wouldn't mind finding a 22-23 foot model to make a pass and a half while hoeing. I have noticed the 400 hates any amount of trash. I plow and this isn't much of an issue. Is the 400 about the best out there, or does someone make a better one? On a side note, I have a later model that has a black-background leaping deer on the logo. I bought one with a yellow-background leaping deer and like it much less. Either the older one is worn out, or Deere started putting much more aggressive spoons on later hoes. [Reply]   [No Email]

The CIHs were a lot more money. I think the old M&W was similar. Believe Yetter is the best choice today and I'm not sure they still make them. [Reply]  [No Email]

I would say your old one is worn some and not as aggressive. As far as trash they all will plug up with much trash. The wheels just stick it and carry it around the wheel.
