Happy New Year everyone, Just picked up a NH276 to replace my old 78 that I have been using for the last 8 years. While replacing broken pick up tynes, one broken guide mounting and missing guide I noticed a few of the pick up tyne springs are rubbing on the guides, enough to cause rub throughs and weakening the tynes. Is this a common problem, adjustment, or do I just need to try and bend the mounts so the tynes clear?

If a number of tines are rubbing on the same stripper, it is probably a bent stripper. If the tines are randomly rubbing different strippers it is probably bent tines.

Just bend them back some. The strippers often get bent going over knobs or other obstacles.
