plow parts?

I'm looking at an old ferguson 2 bottom plow. Are parts still available for these old plows?

Which brands of plows are parts easiest to locate?

Thanks in advance for any help.
 
White Horse Equipment in Gap, Pa. 717-768-8313 they bought Crescent Forge & Shovel here in Illinois they will be your only source for new parts for older plows they have the dies to reproduce plow wear parts as far back as the early 1900. Call them and ask for Melvin,David or Henry King.Encourage them to keep all the dies so we can save our plows. Earl
 
Earl, do you have a snail mail address for them. Do to hearing problems I cannot use the phone for that.
 
I would not buy the plow unless the shares and moldboards are in good shape.
I have seen guys search for years for parts with little or no luck.
Unless Earl's info pans out.
The Ford or Dearborn 'Economy' plows have modern bottoms and parts can be found for those rather easily.
They are the same parts as the Ford 101 plow.

Depending on how much you have into the plow, you could find N bottoms to bolt up like me. The Ferguson AO Plow is the Massey 62 plow in grey paint. Unbolt and swap them out. Call a older implement junkyard. They might have what you're looking for.

Thanks, Tim. That is what I was looking for. I will write to them and see what happens. If they get started I know of a couple of Amish machinery dealers that I work with that I would like to be able to get set up as agents for them.
 
Where are located I have a 2-14s Ferguson Plow I would like to sell if your close to Northern ILL I bet we can make a deal mine is in great shape if restoring you would only need paint otherwise ready to go, I have pictures send me your email.
