hi I have an old 1 row Dearborn-Word Bros 1 row corn picker
from the early 1950s that was given to me by the original owners son as he was about to scrap it, I'm not exactly sure of
the year or the model but I do know it was originally engine
driven and was converted to pto later on. Also noted that it
has the head on the left which would easily set back in the 40s
or 50s I would think. It's hard to make out the color from all
the rust but I do believe it was red at one time and I can still
barely make out the Dearborn logo on the elevator. I plan on
starting the restoration here sometime in the near future and I
would like to know a little more about it.
