JD potato setter

I picked up a farm with some old equipment. Most will be going to the scrap yard as it is no good (gearboxes and things missing). I did find an old setter though. Serial # 000927N Type # 0416. Can somebody tell me what it is and what it might be worth? Thank you

No need to send pictures, it's not worth anything, just Fed ex it to me, and I'll see that it doesn't go to scrap!

Like others have said, post a picture for a serious answer. Value is not based on location, location, location, like real estate, but condition, condition, condition. In Md, a 1 row potato setter would easily bring $500 in working condition. Sorry I can't help any more than that!

For me it would be what you left out. Old equipment with parts missing. Depending on what it is I may be able to use parts if any of it is steel wheel hay rakes, horse drawn mowers, McCormick or Deere planters, steel wheel grain drills or even 4 steel wheel manure spreaders or steel wheel auto guide wagons. I try to find parts for the Amish to keep their machinery working. It is probably newer stuff tho.
