Gehl 3610 skidloader questions

Hello all,
I am going to install a new water pump and I was wondering if anyone would happen to know the bolt torque specs on the water pump bolts. They are metric, but are roughly 1/4" diameter by 5" long. It is a Gehl 3610 skid loader with an Isuzu QT 35 3 cylinder diesel engine. My local dealer didn't have the specs handy without searching through a huge Gehl book. My dealer gave me a 800 number to call to see if I can get the specs. Not sure if they will talk to a customer one on one. Thank you for any help.

I don"t think there is a factory torque spec. for those bolts. Look at a bolt torque chart if need to. There probably 6mm bolts. I never torqued them just make them tight with a 3/8 ratchet and your good to go.

Hi Nate,
I got a whole new pump. You better read this sitting down because you are going to s*@! when I tell you what I paid for it. My water pump was special order because Isuzu diesels are more rare, at least that is what I was told. Anyway, the new water pump was $334.00, $34.00 for thermostat, $4.00 thermostat gasket, plus $20.00 to ship waterpump to my local coop. Yes, this sucks. Very expensive. But the skid loader is worthless to me without a water pump. I haven't had any issues in the last 3 years I owned it otherwise.
Hope this helps. Sorry about the sticker shock.

Hey Cowman,
I did find my bolt torque chart in my desk after I posted this question. My chart says 6lbs.-ft. I will try that. Thanks for responding sir.

I have a bolt torque chart that for M6 8.8 and 9.8 grade torque is 6.5 ft/lb for lubed and 8.5 ft/lb for dry threads and for a 10.9 grade M6 9.5 ft/lb for lubed and 12 ft/lb for dry threads. These specs are from a JD spec book. chris
