Plowing pics with the Oliver rollover

Not such good pictures but I just had to try it. Ground is hard, no moisture but it did ok after a couple of stopps to make adjustments. It's close but there is still work to be done. Last two passes (the right side of the pictures) it was starting to look better.

I discovered a couple of things.
One, I can't lift the plow quite high enough to clear when I roll it. That's ok. I have adjustments to the three point on the tractor that will cure that.
#2, even though the tractor pulled the plow well, 3.9 mph, I was traction challenged at times.
That's ok too. I have 642 pounds of cast weight coming that should be here Wednesday that will solve that problem and finally...
These will be the last pictures for awhile. Some how or another, I busted my camera right after I took these photos. :x

If you really want to help the tractor handle the lifting better fill the loader bucket with a scoop of gravel. I do this when I pull loaded corn wagons with my JD 6300 MFWD. It makes a world of difference. Even a small bucket of gravel would be more than the cast weights you have coming. Plus it is way out in front to help counter balance the plow better.

Also does that smaller Kubota have draft control??? Many of the compact tractors do not have any draft control. That makes plowing with them harder.

To gain some more 'lift'.Simply raise the top link point up
2-3 ".Simply weld a couple 'ears'(with a 1" hole for
the pin) to the top of the mast.Raising the
mast/hitch point will raise the back end of the plow
higher(simple geometry) but will not effect the way the plow will
work.Been there/done that on a couple of plows and
other 'stuff'..Pretty easy fix.

DeltaRed,
My lift arms have another hole that makes the three point lift higher. I just have to pull and replace one pin on each arm but I know what you mean about the geometry. Been there done that too on some of my other stuff but I'm trying to NOT weld on the plow.

Jd seller, I figured to pick up something in the bucket for pulling, never thought about lifting better. It does unload the front just a bit when I pick it up but I never thought about gaining some lift height keeping the front down. I really only need 3 or 4 more inches.

Now I have some more ideas...

A plow pulls much harder without coulters. Takes more HP even if you do not have trash to cut.
