I just got my hands on a jd disc type trip plow and need help obtaining a model number. It has 8 blades all mounted on a common axle. all steel wheels and looks like it has adjustment settings for soft medium or hard ground. There is a long hand crank that is threaded into what looks like a bow tie with john deere cast into it. If I remember correctly m882 aw is cast on the frame as well. From the paint left on it it looks like a large portion of this thing was painted red, is this correct? Thanks in advance for any help. |

| John Deere for there name of them is a disk tiller or as a lot on this site call it a one way but it is not called a plow. A plow has only one blade per standard where the blades are mounted on. If you go to Deere's parts lookup up site and type in disk tiller you should get a list of all models they still have parts books for. With red paint it would be 30's or early 40's prewar and may no longer be able to have a parts book avaible. |
