Google "Fry's machinery" they are in PA. Tons of NH salvage.

I am curious about what happened to your gearbox. I just replaced a broken output shaft in one for a neighbor. They are fairly easy to work on. Is the whole box 'toast'? 1 shaft (no gear) was $260 plus bearings, seals etc.

I am not sure. It belongs to an Amish friend , I will find out more. It must really be messed up if they cant fix it up, but hesaid a new was 2200 dollars.

His dealer is pretty handy with the markup pen. MSRP on the complete gearbox is $1936, which is bad enough.
