just thought i'd add my two cents as i just took my rake apart to fix a wheel wobble. Stay away from the sprocket: i drove the pin out and tried to get the sprocket to move but gave up before i broke something. I took evrything apart from the other side: took hub off and am in the process of trying to find new bushings for that. The bearing i cut and split to get off. Turns out the bearing and locking collar are the same as the ends of a Ford 917 Flail mower, so i had some parts lying around. those parts are available, its the bushing for the hub that i'm having problems with. If anyone has a part diagram for the hub assembly? of course that doesnt mean the local deere dealer will have the part... |
